Alfa Laval to acquire Swedish tank cleansing equipment specialist Scanjet

Alfa Laval has signed an agreement to accumulate Scanjet, a global provider of tank cleansing equipment and options for marine, offshore and industrial functions.

“Scanjet’s well-known and market-leading options for cargo tanks complement our current Framo cargo pumping options for cargo handling. This gives us the flexibility to optimize tank administration for our customers with an ambition to scale back their water and fuel consumption and ultimately their CO2 footprint,” says Sameer Kalra, president of Alfa Laval’s Marine Division.
